Sealing

Marine gaskets, O-rings and sealing kits

Gaskets are the cheapest part on the engine and the most common cause of a leak that stops a survey. We supply cylinder cover and manifold gaskets, O-ring kits, mechanical seals and jointing sheet in the materials your system needs.

  • Single unit or complete kit
  • OEM and verified alternatives
  • Certificate with shipment
  • Quotation in one business day

What we supply

Most sealing failures are a material problem, not a quality problem: NBR where the temperature calls for FKM, or a fibre gasket on a surface that needs a steel ring. When you send an enquiry, tell us the medium and the temperature, and we will confirm the material before the size.

To quote accurately

What we need from you

  • 1. Engine make and type
For example MAN B&W 6S50MC-C, or Wärtsilä 6L32.
  • 2. Part number
From the manual, the invoice, or stamped on the old part.
  • 3. Quantity and destination
One unit or a set, and the port or city for delivery.
  • 4. A photo, if the number is gone
The worn part, the nameplate or a drawing with dimensions.
No part number? That is common on older engines. Send the bore, the overall length and a photo and we will work from that.

Questions

Before you enquire

Can you cut a gasket to a drawing?

Yes, including non-standard shapes and thicknesses. Send a dimensioned drawing or a tracing of the old gasket; a photograph with a rule alongside works for simple shapes.

Which material for a high-temperature exhaust joint?

Graphite-based or steel with a graphite facing, depending on the flange design and the movement at the joint. Fibre sheet will burn out on an exhaust manifold; that is the failure we see most.

Do O-rings come as a kit or individually?

Both. Kits are built by engine type and cover the common cover, flange and fitting sizes. Individual sizes are quoted from the inside diameter, cord thickness and material.

Tell us what you need

One part number is enough to start. Drawings, photos and nameplate details all help us confirm the match.

What to include: engine make and type, part number (if known), quantity, and the port or city you need it delivered to. A photo of the nameplate or the worn part is often faster than a part number.
